Synopsis:

Haunted by his past, Ishranth, a disgruntled filmmaker is living a secluded life, one day at a time. Natasha, his granddaughter, finds herself spending a weekend with him; not having met for years.

The film then tracks Natasha's journey, as she learns of her grandfathers turbulent and agonizing past.

Can her growing awareness, help liberate Ishranth from his desolation and mend broken ties?

Angad started his career as an Assistant to Oscar Nominee Ashvin Kumar, on his Independent short film Dazed in Doon (2011), which was shot while Angad was studying in his final year at The Doon School (Dehradun, India). He moved to Mumbai and graduated in 2014 with a degree in Advertising from Jai Hind College, Mumbai University. While in College Angad continued working as an assistant director on a number of advertisements for brands like Pepsi, Indian Super League, Star TV, and Indian Premiere League. He furthered his filmmaking prowess assisting award winning international directors on a number of short and feature films (The Corner Table, Dekh Tamasha Dekh, Airlift, No Fathers in Kashmir). A few years into assisting, Angad soon acquired an interest in writing and worked independently as a writer on a number of digital campaigns for brands like Hiranandani, Times Now, Kohinoor Group, Yash Papers-Chuk, Tapri Tea House, Peninsula Land to name a few. However, it was only in the summer of 2017 when Angad in collaboration with his older sister worked towards fulfilling his lifelong dream of starting an Independent production house “Surdy Birdy Movies”. He has recently directed his first independent short film “Take 2” featuring actors Mahima Makwana and Ram Gopal Bajaj (renowned Television and Theatre personalities respectively) under this banner, which premiered at the 10th Jagran Film Festival, in Mumbai last year, and continues to do a round of festivals and win awards across the globe.
