Formerly a well-known writer, Balmiki, 58, now lives in obscurity. A publishing house gives him forty thousand rupees to write about his wife, who was murdered. Regardless, Balmiki does not provide a single page of manuscript. To recover the writing, the publishing house engages Sounak, a young debt recovery agent.
